Die Kinder werden mit einer 60 Minuten langen Online-Lektion, die von einer SBL Englisch-sprachigen Lehrperson geführt wird, den Tag beginnen: eine ‘Morgen-Kick-Off-Lektion’, aufgebaut auf dem ganzheitlichen Konzept von SBL, die Aktivitäten anregen soll, die von einer erwachsenen Person auf der anderen Seite des Bildschirms nach dem Online-Unterricht durchgeführt werden.
Das Ziel ist es, die Kinder in allen ihren Intelligenzen zu fördern.
For dem Mittagessen gehen die Kinder nochmals für 30 Minuten online, um die Resultate ihrer Arbeiten zu präsentieren, spielerische Aktivitäten durchzuführen und sie auf eine Lernreise in den Nachmittag zu verabschieden.
Die Kinder lernen über den Unterricht hinaus, indem sie die im Unterricht erlangten Kompetenzen auch nach dem Unterricht weiter ausbauen.

Selbstständige Lernzeit zwischen den Online-Lektionen

Während der Online-Lektionen wird dein Kind Anregungen und Impulse für das Lernen bekommen sowie Aufgaben für sich aussuchen, die das Lesen, das Schreiben, feinmotorische Kompetenzen und logisches Denken fördern.
Primarschulkinder (4-9) brauchen eine Betreuung vor Ort, die das Kind während der Online-Lektionen und in der selbstständigen Lernzeit unterstützt. Diese Betreuung kann z.B. ein Elternteil, Großeltern, Au-Pair-Mädchen oder Verwandte übernehmen. Die Person, die mit den Kindern arbeitet, muss keine Ausbildung mitbringen. Die SBL-Lehrperson gilt als Ansprechpartnerin.
