Our experienced SBL Leaders and Facilitators/Mentors have learned the importance of school culture through various roles and positions held in other schools before joining SBL. This rich experience has enabled us to identify key characteristics of a strong school culture and implement them successfully at our school. These characteristics are clearly visible at SBL.

A Shared Sense of Purpose

All staff at School Beyond Limitations share a common purpose. We pour our hearts into teaching. The underlying norms that guide our actions are collegiality, continuous improvement, and hard work.

We place great importance on celebrating student accomplishments, teacher innovation, and parent commitment. Through student traditions, we honour these achievements. Additionally, an informal network of SBL storytellers, heroes, and heroines weaves a social web of information, support, and history throughout the school.
