We have families who travel the world and regularly move from one place to another. SBL allows these children to thrive at school while retaining their friendships.
We have many single-parent and blended families within our community, with parents living in different countries or cities. SBL gives students the flexibility to study and live with different parents or family members any time they choose.
We have a number of ‘gifted’ and talented students who have found the rigidity of traditional schools too prohibitive. SBL allows them to unlock their full potential by learning at their own pace while pursuing their elite talents and personal goals.
We have families that have relocated to another country or city for career reasons and their company has provided them with an educational package through SBL to aid continuity of learning for their children.
Some of our parents are athletes, actors, musicians and creatives with demanding schedules. SBL allows families to attend events, be on-set for filming and participate in tournaments or concerts while ensuring minimal disruption to their child’s education.

Our students are involved in the design of their own learning. Understanding the purpose of their own learning, helps them to feel enthused and valued for their individuality.
Learning cross-subject – our students recognise that maths is not a standalone subject, but a language embedded within the many different projects they are working on. Understanding how one subject translates to another, enhances their academic ability.
Rather than focusing on uninspiring tests or memory recall, our students flourish by having space to apply their learning to real life scenarios. This gives their learning context and relevance to their everyday lives.

For students aged 4-9
SBL Primary School provides a personalised, holistic and entrepreneurial-driven approach to learning for younger children. Students are supported towards the achievement of their own personal goals and the skills that prepare them for their lives.
For students aged 10-20
SBL Secondary School nurtures, coaches and supports every student until they have achieved their own personal goals: whether that is guiding them through their university application, equipping them with the skills to launch their own future business, or supporting them with careers advice or a new job application.
for students of all ages
At SBL we also offer additional mentoring support to young people of all ages. Our afternoon mentoring sessions are designed to help develop personal growth and provide one hour of personalised, one-to-one guidance and support expertly tailored to every student’s individual needs.
for teenagers and young adults aged 16 and above
SBL also provides a unique Bridging Year for young people who, after completing their school education, are unsure about their future plans and require further guidance, support and direction regarding the opportunities available to them.
